VGC Note Takers

Simple note taking spreads for VGC games. Designed for A5 grid paper, 0.5cm/50mm grid systems (what I use in my notebooks).

Note: This page is intentionally made to not scale with screen size. The grid is based on pixels on screen to keep the layout of the pages consistent. If you are using a smaller screen size, you will need to scroll for the landscape-style page.

How to Use

This page assumes you plan on remaking this template on your own paper. I recommend using the same grid system listed above (A5, 50mm dot grid). They sell those on Amazon for pretty cheap and you can find them at your local Walmart, HomeGoods, wherever.

Sections on this page are color-coordinated to help you see which area is intended for what. If you decide to use these or not is up to you.

Light Blue
Team Sheet (I would put my opponent's there as I figure it out). Four boxes tall, which fits the standard Pokepaste template if you separate the four moves on the side. Write the information you expect to be true during team selection, then cross out during or after the match and see if your predictions were accurate.
Light Green
Actual match notes. Write the Pokémon that actually comes out here and any notes you think of along the way (i.e. "Outspeeds Garchomp 100% of the time - Scarfed?")
Lorem ipsum
Event information. Whatever you want to call this team, the event, whomever you're playing against, whatever you think is important enough to share.
